i am an organization freak...

I have talked about this quote before. It means a lot to me. So much that I branded my original designs with the name Bird on a Branch...that's another thing though!

in which i grovel for teachers all over the country

As the school year winds down everywhere i am seeing more and more blogs with suggestions for teacher appreciation gifts. There are so many creative and wonderful ideas! And even ideas that can be in-expensively made for those whose children are old enough to have more than one teacher.
But you want to know a secret?
You don't have to give anything more than your words.
A short three or four sentence specific note from you and even your child is more appreciated than anything else!
Not sure something of something specific?
Ask you child one thing each teacher did special for you child. Even if it is just that they always said good morning. Or made sure to always ask if your child understood a concept. Knowing you and your student notice the little things we do make a HUMONGOUS difference! We love love love it!

So, even if you hadn't planned on doing anything for the end of the year because of costs, try a quick post it note or email. School already over- our email works all summer and so do our mailboxes at the school!
